Subject: Music and sound great...political channeling aweful
Yes the music and sound quality of this recording are just perfect. But the way Glenn uses the venue as a channel for political statements is ridiculous. It sort of ruins the whole vibe.

Subject: Sound Quality Awesome!
Not my normal download, but I've liked "Toad The Wet Sprocket"'s stuff and decided to check out Glen. This show is superb.

Recording quality is excellent, seems to capture the sound of this small room wth clarity and warmth. It's only Glen and his guitar, but he fills up the audio space with his strumming and lyrics. Both come through loud and clear on this recording.

If you're a Glen Phillips fan, I'm sure this is 5-stars, but since I don't know him well, I'm saying 5-stars on sound and 4 for show so far.

Subject: Very nice
No wonder, Glen gives it all coz I keep on playing this on my MP3 player up to now. Hope to see him perform live someday. Cheers!

Subject: cant stop listening to this
This is my favorite download off archive.org so far. the playability of this live set is amazing-- i cant stop listening to it. on last.fm it says ive listened to this album over 6 times. and i only got it 2 days ago. so if that says anything....
esp listen to #24 - mr. poppy and #21 - windmills.
Excellent audio quality. he goes off on some strange tangents about liberal political things that might make some people a little uncomfortable, but hte music is great. he really reacts to the audience- in one part he asks the audience parts of the lyrics and then he goes on and plays the song someone requested. very cool stuff. this is a must have!

This is a truly wonderful show. The sound quality is great, the music is great, and the dialogue is great. You can't ask for much more.

Subject: Awesome show
I was at this show, but didn't realize anyone was taping it. The setlist is great, and the quality is probably the best of any Glen show I've heard. I could have sworn he played Political Science at this show, though. Was it left off of the recording, or am I imagining things?

Subject: Wow!
After seeing Glen with a friend in SF not long ago, I knew I had witnessed something awesome. The chance to go back and re-experience the tone and feel of his show was great. This sounds fantastic, and captures it all!

Subject: Quality...
The audio quality of this recording is simply awesome. I have seen recordings archived here where the taper has said "Do not convert to lossy format" when the recording sounds like it's been done with a cheap internal boombox microphone.

If any recording deserves Flac, this is one. If only all the recordings here were of this quality.

As for Glen's stuff, it's just awesome. This was my first exposure to his music. I've heard some Toad stuff, but never heard him on his own. If there were 6 stars, I would give them for the recording quality and the music itself.

Subject: I feel like sending Glen $10 just for this recording.
This is an absolutely great sounding / good selection of stuff that's going to get tons of playtime at home. Has a very intimate sound, excellent imaging of the guitar and vocals. Also has an appropriate amount of crowd noise. No distortion or tinny-ness I hear in many of the live recordings (with the exception of Messiah03).
